This existing playground footprint is approximately 5,400 square feet. It is not necessary for the playground design to stay within the existing play area footprint. The playground should be designed to include play areas for various age groups. Picnic facilities and shade shelters could be included in the design to accommodate group gatherings such as birthday parties if space permits.
The path of travel from the parking lot to the comfort station appears to be compliant with today’s access
