The project includes the demolition of an existing comfort station and its replacement in the same general location with a new comfort station and accessible path of travel form Coast Blvd. as conceptually design by a Consultant (Sadie Rabines Architects) hired by the community groups and approved through the community input process. The existing comfort station contains a sewer pump station #33 for the La Jolla Bridge Club which the Public Utilities Department (PUD) decided to demolish.
