This project provides for the restoration of the existing building to the 1915 original design as much as possible. This includes the restoration of the window arcades all the way around the building, removal of the concrete piers, structural reinforcement, repair and painting of the redwood lath, and remodeling and expansion of the maintenance area. A screened maintenance yard shall also be provided at the North West corner of the botanical building.
